Hubitat Mobile: The Official Mobile App for Hubitat Elevation Platform
Hubitat Mobile is the official mobile app for the Hubitat Elevation platform. It is designed for existing owners of Hubitat Elevation Hubs. With this app, users can access dashboards to control devices, change Hubitat Safety Monitor status or change modes and more.
One of the key features of the app is the ability to create a geofence that will update a "Mobile Presence" device on the hub based on the pin location radius and phone location. This defaults to the hub location but can be dragged to any location. Additionally, users can receive push notifications from the hub for anything set up in apps using the Push Message methods.
It is important to note that this app is not for the administration of the hub. That should be done via the portal or the local IP address of the hub. The app is available for free on Android devices. However, to use the app, users need to migrate to a Hubitat account via the Hubitat Portal. Once the migration process is complete, users can log in and change their temporary password to a new password on that site and then they will be able to login to the app.
